One of the most anticipated outdoor neighborhood music series line-ups has just been announced. The 19th annual “Picnic in the Parkway Summer Concert Series” is set to kick off towards the end of June. Every Tuesday, music fans can look forward to listening to some of the region’s best bands, while hanging around in a family-friendly park setting. The Tuesday concert series manages to attract hundreds of guests, who have come to love the free event that benefits the Elmwood Village Association via donations and beverage sales.
“The Picnic in the Parkway concert series is one of the great summer traditions here in the Elmwood Village. We’ve got a stellar lineup of local musicians this year, and just as with the recent Buffalo Porchfest, the concert series is also an opportunity to showcase the Elmwood Village and share it with people from Western New York and Canada,” said Elmwood Village Association Executive Director Carly Battin.
