Wurstfest! The Wurst Party in Buffalo

You don’t get called The Wurst Party in Buffalo for nothing. The inaugural Wurstfest! was so popular in 2105 that organizers are doing it all over again. They’re taking over Buffalo River Fest Park and turning into the German beer garden featuring the best sausage and traditional fare that you could ever wish for.

Purchase authentic German steins, souvenir mugs, and clothing from a variety of vendors, including the German-American Musician’s very own store!

Throughout the day, revelers participate in a Stein Hoist competition, which is just one of the popular activities. There’s also a tribute to The Best Dressed Bavarian, so break out your finest Scandinavian outfits (Dirndl and Lederhosen) and get ready to dance to Buffalo’s very own Die Auslanders.

The shindig is presented by the German-American Musicians – a group that opens its arm s wide, so that Buffalonians can partake in an event that includes everything from special batches of Warsteiner’s Braumeister Brew to an overall sense of inclusive hospitality (or gemütlichkeit).
