Celebrate Tax Day at the Market Arcade

Usually people don’t celebrate when tax day comes around. But this year, the businesses at the Market Arcade are kicking the tax day blues to the curb by hosting a celebration. Instead of moping around, raising your fist at the tax man, why not come down to the Market Arcade to catch some live music, shop, eat and raise a glass to toast to the latest entrepreneurial successes.

This is a bit of a new revelation for us all. Not many people thought that they would ever see the first floor of the Market Arcade filling up with businesses, with a fully functional high end food court accessible next door (EXPO Market). This is the perfect chance to get out of the house, or out of your accountant’s office, and forget about financial life for a spell. Heck, maybe you’re one of the lucky ones that is expecting to receive a monetary return this year. If that’s the case, then the shop owners at the Market Arcade really want to see you.

“This is the first of a new monthly party all of us store owners inside the Market Arcade plan to hold,” said Giovanni Centurione, owner of Trend Up. “We’ll switch the theme and offerings each month and of course new ideas are always welcomed. This was decided by all us business owners on the first floor including our newest addition, Buffalo Barkery (they’ll be open during this event).”

So come on down and support these trend setting, pioneering new businesses that are making a go of it in Downtown Buffalo. If you haven’t spent any time getting to know your new city, now is the time.
