Buffalove Revue – A Night of Live Music and Dance

Author: Paul Fanara

Buffalove Revue, A Night of Live Music and Dance, kicks off the Spring entertainment season at the Foundry Suites on April 16, with the high-energy, bring you to your feet vocals of local singer Cortney Chyme, and the stylings of talented musicians including Zach Carr and Ryan Kaminski.

Conceptualized by local musician and producer RiShon Odel Northington, and his production company Hart2Heart Music in combination with Cortney Chyme, Buffalove Revue will have something for everyone, and will showcase the talents of a dozen local musicians and performance artists, including a variety of dance routines.

Cortney is a multifaceted performer who began her performance career in dance as a child. As a teacher with Adell’s School of Dance in Niagara Falls, she instructs and inspires young dancers while continuing to develop her own dance repertoire. As a singer, she displays her talents with the Chamber Choir, Harmonia, and sings lead female vocals with Steve Balestari’s Uptown Seven band.

When asked what she wanted most from Buffalove Revue, Cortney stated, “We wanted a platform to help show off the amazing talent here in Buffalo. I hope it gives everyone in attendance a sense of the wonderful musicians and performers our area has to offer, and they enjoy a night dedicated to the appreciation of all forms of artistic expression.”

Among the featured artists joining her will be Zach Carr, nominated in the 2016 Artvoice Buffalo Best awards for Best Male Vocalist, and Best Acoustic Act (Zach & Jonah), and fellow Harmonia member, and recording artist Ryan Kaminski. Both Zach and Ryan are diverse musicians that bring a wide range of musical knowledge to Buffalove Revue.

No matter who you are or what your taste in music is, there will be something to get you dancing!

Cortney enthusiastically describes the show as, “Guaranteed to be exciting, and entertaining. No matter who you are or what your taste in music is, there will be something to get you dancing!”
