8th Annual BBQ & Blues Bash

BBQ-Blues-Bash-8-Buffalo-NY-2Barbecue and blues are returning to the Cobblestone District on Friday, June 17 for the 8th Annual BBQ & Blues Bash. This highly anticipated celebration of blues is also an important fundraiser for Gateway Longview – an organization that is dedicated to helping out at-risk youth.

Bands at this year’s festival include Tommy Z Band, Hayden Fogle Band, CDR Trio, and Dirty Smile. Plates of barbecue will be served up by Fat Bob’s Smokehouse, BW’s Smokin’ Barrels BBQ, Big Belly BarBeQue, and J&L Boulevard BBQ. Additional delicious treats will be offered up by Sweet Melody’s Gelato and Wheatberry Bake Shop.

An after party will be held at Buffalo Iron Works, which means that the sounds of the blues will last a full four hours – from 5pm to 9pm.

The premier outdoor blues concert will be held rain or shine. Over 1000 blues fans are anticipated to attend. For added comfort, attendees are invited to bring their own chairs for the ‘first come first serve’ lawn seating area. There is also free parking at the First Niagara Center ramp.

Tickets are on sale now for $20 presale or $25 at the event. Tickets can be purchased at www.BBQBluesBash.com or Iron Works. Ticket price includes entertainment and refreshments from Labatt and other local distributors. Food tickets sold separately at this 21+ event. Illinois Street near First Niagara Center. See Facebook for details.
