2016 Canalside Boardwalk Carnival

One of the most successful events to make its way to Canalside is coming back in 2016. Last year’s carnival was very well attended, without being overcrowded. As you can see by the lead image, the carnival offers a wide array of amusements for people of all ages.

After last year’s carnival, I wrote a short post about the inherent nature of carnivals, and how they are able to attract diverse segments of the population. After all, just about everyone loves a carnival – the people watching, the food, the attractions… there’s so much to see and do. For a kid, a carnival is cornucopia of sights, smells and sounds. They are almost irresistible. For an adult, the carnival is a chance to act like a kid again.

The 2016 Canalside Boardwalk Carnival is set to be fun-filled day for all. Hammerl Amusements will feature 16 rides and games, food, a beer tent, and live entertainment for the entire family to enjoy.

Costs:
• Admission: Free
• Unlimited ride bracelets: $20 per day per person
• Individual ride tickets: $1 each or family pack of 24 for $20

Please note: Each ride will require between 3-4 tickets, or a ride bracelet, to ride. Each ride will also have a height requirement.

Days & Times:
• Saturday, May 28th from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Sunday, May 29th from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Monday, May 30th from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m
