A great gallery or museum is truly exceptional when it lends itself to shows and performances that extend into each and every cultural pocket of the community.
The formations of hip hop, which took root in the 70s in the Bronx, has has 40 years to evolve. Today hip hop is alive and well in Buffalo, and can be heard emanating from select Allentown bars on any given weekend.
On Friday, April 8, from 7pm to 11pm, Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center will be hosting a music event that encompasses the world of regional hiphop and R&B. The event, presented by WNY’s Music & Arts Movement, will feature top talents in the Buffalo circuit. Performers from the Medaille Alliance Dance Team will also be on hand throughout the evening.
