This Friday at Mohawk Place will showcase the return of Rochester’s up and coming buzz band, Kopps. The electronic/ dance quartet has been on the rise for a while, now recently finishing a huge tour with fellow hometown friends Joywave. This is an act not to miss – be sure to bring your dancing shoes out from the back of your closet. Last time Kopps were in town they brought the house down.
Preceding Kopps will be Buffalo’s favorite experimental pop act Lesionread. The once “one-man band” that featured ringleader Shawn E. Lewis on every instrument has extended itself into a full three piece group that will be debuting on Friday. Lewis – who likes to stay innovative when promoting concerts – sent along this message for any Lesionread fans that are wondering what to expect from the full band.
Getting the night warmed up is going to be Buffalo Rising “On the Record” veterans Humble Braggers. The synth pop band is planning on performing a number of new songs and is excited for a high energy show. Also, be sure to come on time and catch openers Pinesheets coming out from Albany to share their brand of experimental/R&B/pop.
