Luncheon: Interview / Q&A with Rep. Brian Higgins

In recent years, congressman Brian Higgins has been active in advancing the issue of travel and trade between the US and Canada. He’s been a major proponent of transforming the DL&W Terminal along the Buffalo River into a dynamic transportation and destination hub. He has also been a stalwart advocate for TIGER grants, which have allowed Main Street to reopen to cars. From transportation to clean water, Higgins has fought for Buffalo on myriad issues.

On Wednesday, March 9, Investigative Post continues its luncheon series, when Editor Jim Heaney interviews Congressman Brian Higgins. The live interview will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.

The luncheon is scheduled for 12 noon at Osteria 166, located at 166 Franklin Street.

Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rising work on collaborative efforts in order to cover various events and stories. These posts can not be attributed to one single author, as it is a combined effort. Often times a formation of a post gets started by one writer and passed along to one or more writers before completion. At times there are author attributions at the end of one of these posts. Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.
