Jesse Crouse, owner of Tipico Coffee, is hosting his first event at the café. In order to catch coffee lovers up to speed on the ins and outs of the industry, Crouse will be discussing numerous elements that he feels are pertinent to today’s coffee culture. ‘Coffee 101’ will spotlight the advantages of Seed to Cup, coffee at the farm level, and what coffees to look out for and why.
There will be a small tasting to highlight the major flavor differences of growing regions.
In recent years, a cup of coffee has become as selective and discriminating as a fine glass of wine. There are those who seek out the best, because they thrive on the subtle aromatic flavors. There are others who want to learn more about what it is they are drinking, and why certain brews speak to them.
