Last evening, Chicago chef Graham Elliot made a guest appearance at Martin Cooks restaurant. Elliot is widely known for his past judging role in MasterChef, along with Gordon Ramsay and Joe Bastianich. It was Elliot’s iconic white glasses and snappy dress that stood out, as well as his cooking prowess of course.
Elliot apparently stayed at Samuel’s Grande Manor when he was in town, and only made it into the city to dine on Connecticut Street on the city’s West Side. When asked, he stated that he would have liked to spend some time photographing the city’s windmills and the grain elevators. He said that the next time he is in town, he will make it a point to tour some of the photo worthy sites, as he is an avid photographer.
According to Martin Danilowicz, owner of Martin Cooks, Elliot came to Buffalo to shoot an infomercial with Brad Cole (Cole Media Group), who apparently receives numerous top celebs to his production studio throughout the course of the year. Elliot is currently endorsing a line of kitchenware called Gotham Steel, which is considered one of the top lines in the industry. “It’s nice that Graham came into Buffalo,” noted Danilowicz. “It was a great honor to have him at Martin Cooks.”
