Buffalo Meets

An event that was formerly known at Thursdays in the City, is being rebranded as Buffalo Meets moving forward. The idea behind the event series is to promote business gatherings at inspirational venues where Buffalonians can come together to in a social setting, designed as informal meet and greets.

The recurring event is hosted by Working For Downtown – a group that is dedicated to strengthening the city by ways of networking (among others).

Buffalo Meets is the perfect way to connect with others. Whether someone is looking to expand upon their personal business networks, or simply wants to explore new economic avenues, often times it’s not necessarily what you know… it’s who you know.

Save The Date: April 21, 2016 | Big Ditch Brewing Company | Working For Downtown’s premier social event | 5:30 – 7:30 pm | Sponsored by EnergyMark | Find Working for Downtown on Facebook

Buffalo Rising

Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rising work on collaborative efforts in order to cover various events and stories. These posts can not be attributed to one single author, as it is a combined effort. Often times a formation of a post gets started by one writer and passed along to one or more writers before completion. At times there are author attributions at the end of one of these posts. Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.
