The Globe and Mail has painted another optimistic image of Buffalo. The paper has picked up on this city’s buoyancy in an article that draws attention to the uptick in development and the prevailing optimism that ensues.
…something seems to be stirring in Western New York. The area is undergoing more than $5.5-billion (U.S.) in new economic development, mostly in downtown Buffalo.
Aside from major infusions of money (Buffalo Billion), the article attributes the turn around to our ability to finally recognize that our historic building stock is actually an asset instead of a detriment.
