Network @ the Aficionado

Buffalo Aficionado is back with another swanky networking event at the Hotel @ The Lafayette. At the event, some of Buffalo’s top food, drink and product offerings will be showcased before rising leaders in the city. In a place like Buffalo, more often than not, it’s “Who you know, not necessarily what you know.” That means that networking is one of the keys to scoring deals, landing jobs, and moving up the ladder.

The Aficionado is aimed at introducing the networking community to some of the ‘finer’ businesses around, in fields that include fashion, entertainment, specialty cocktails, fitness, specialty bourbon and Scotch, fine tobacco, and brewing. There’s nothing else like The Aficionado for those who want to taste and test the finer things in life, right in their hometown.

The Aficionado is a night dedicated to Rising Leaders. It’s a premiere networking event. It’s also designed around a charitable cause – “Supporting the local council of the Boy Scouts in their mission to prepare young men and women for life.”

Buffalo Aficionado is open to everyone. The Aficionado will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016, at the Hotel Lafayette in downtown Buffalo.

The event will be a culinary and visual experience that will provide an array of exhibitors representing some of the freshest and most unique businesses in Buffalo and around the region. All in a great atmosphere for socializing.

Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rising work on collaborative efforts in order to cover various events and stories. These posts can not be attributed to one single author, as it is a combined effort. Often times a formation of a post gets started by one writer and passed along to one or more writers before completion. At times there are author attributions at the end of one of these posts. Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.
