Are you ready for a night filled with Golden Era HipHop, and R&B from 80s, 90s and early 2000s? How about mixing in one of the city’s most prolific muralists? This scene, and more, will be going down this Friday at Cobblestone, as part of Noble Salvaje’s Fusion Friday event series. Friday Fusion incorporates live music, along with beats served up by guest DJs. The upcoming session incorporates a special tribute to A Tribe Called Quest, featuring some of the hottest sound sensations in WNY.
“Fusion Friday is a Music series Hosted by myself as a tribute to Golden Era HipHop and R&B from 80s, 90s and early 2000s,” said Noble Salvaje. “Set at the Cobblestone, 130 S. Park Ave in the historic Cobblestone District. This event will feature Keyboardist Toney Rhodes, Flute Johnson on Drums, Tone Cummings on Bass and Keyboard player Breezie Coles. The February 19th event will Reimagine the legendary Tribe Called Quest acoustically along with DJ Milk and feature a Living Painting by Vinny Alejandro dedicated to the group based on his vision.”
