The Buffalo Choral Arts Society (BCAS), a 110-voice community chorus under the direction of Marcia A. Giambrone, continues its 50th Anniversary Celebration with “In Remembrance”. The afternoon concert celebrates the healing power of music, as it lifts our souls and spirits to a higher place. BCAS will be joined in song by the Westminster Presbyterian Church Choir, headed up by Garrett F. Martin, Director of Music and organist.
“In Remembrance” offers musical reflection, honoring and paying tribute to those we have lost. The concert is intended to be a joy-filled way to appreciate vocal artistic expression, in a way that can only be delivered by choral singers.
The concert will take place on March 6, 3 pm at the Westminster Presbyterian Church – 724 Delaware Avenue. This reflective concert will feature works by Faure, Rutter, Stoope, Lloyd Webber, Vierne, and others.
