BRRAlliance & Black Rock Historical Society continue to forge ahead with event series designed around culture, history and neighborhood. Starting in March, the theme of the series is spring gardening. All of the classes incorporate some sort of flowery gardening tip. The classes range from an adult coloring night to container gardening.
March 3 – Adult Coloring Night – Featuring Flower Designs- 6-7:30 | Come join us for music, fellowship and an adult coloring experience. fun and relaxation. Pencils and copies to color provided. If you have your own pencils and designs please feel free to bring and share. We are looking at flower designs for spring.
March 10 – All about Tulips – 6-7:30 | A lecture on the history of tulips will be followed by a 30 minute movie on Holland and their wonderful tulips. Come join us to get in the Spring of things.
April 7 – Adult Coloring Night – Flower Designs – 6-7:30 | Come join us for music, fellowship and an adult coloring experience. fun and relaxation. Pencils and copies to color provided. April 14 – Container Gardening – 6-7:30 | Downsizing doesn’t mean you can’t have a garden. Come see some great techniques for growing flowers and vegetables in containers. Presenter TBA
May 5 – Adult Coloring and Flower Making – 6- 7:30 | We will have our traditional adult coloring night. We will also show you how to make cloth roses to decorate hats, purses etc, just in time for Spring.
