10 Years of comedy at Nietzsche’s

For a decade, Nietzsche’s has been home to countless comedians who have come to call the music venue home. Without the support from Nietzsche’s, the comedy scene in Buffalo would be nothing like it is today. Nietzsche’s gave comedian Kristen Becker a place to ply her craft, which in turn created a ripple effect that sent signals to all corners of the city.

Kristen Becker is back in town! And she’s bringing a group of comedy virgins (from her comedy class), journeymen, and pros with her to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of comedy at Nietzsche’s.

Becker beat the comedic drum at Nietzsche’s for years, before embarking up a project that would see a new comedy club open in the Cobblestone District. Without the formative years at Nietzsche’s, the comedy landscape in this city would look a lot different.

Now Kristen is back in Buffalo, and she’s gathering together her comedy contingent for an evening of laughs at her old stomping ground. The evening is being hosted by Brian Netzel.

The 10 year comedy celebration is set to get underway on March 1, 2016 at 8pm.
