Pints & Pierogi go together like peas and carrots. In the middle of winter, what could be better than splitting open a nice warm pierogi, and then washing it down with a craft beer? Especially when the pierogi maker is one of the hot new food businesses in town – Ru’s Pierogi.
Ru’s will be opening a restaurant on Niagara Street this summer that will second as a production faculty. The company will also be launching a food truck. In the meantime, the pierogi company will continue to serve up its delicious dumplings via select restaurants (Big Ditch, Blue Monk, Liberty Hound), events and festivals.
The upcoming Pints & Pierogi Festival is being held at the Marcy Casino, which is the perfect cold weather getaway located in the heart of Delaware Park – 199 Lincoln Parkway. The four-hour event is a great way to sample some of Ru’s delicacies, while imbibing in craft beer selections curated by Resurgence, Community Beer Works, Big Ditch and Flying Bison.
