It has been almost two years since Dr. Fadi Dagher’s D&S Capital Real Estate purchased the Waterfront Village Center Office complex, and now there are more changes on the horizon. Beginning January 1, Cedarland Development Group, Dagher’s property management and development company, will take over the management of 50 and 60 Lakefront Boulevard. In addition, several building improvements are in the works and will be completed in the next year.
• Restoration of plaza clock tower
• Cosmetic changes to lobbies and atriums
• Updating common area restrooms
• Installing solar panels on the roof to reduce energy costs (below)
• Systematically replacing all of the building’s HVAC units, to further reduce energy costs
The refurbished clock tower will be revealed at a Holiday Clock Lighting on December 14th from 4:30-5:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served and the event is open to the public.
Dagher purchased 50 and 60 Lakefront in February 2014 for $7.2 million. Of the 133,000 sq.ft. of commercial space, three suites with a total of 9,500 sq.ft. are available for lease.
Waterfront Village Center offers free parking, efficient floor plans, two elevators in each building, a continuous ribbon of windows surrounding each floor, an under floor duct system for ease of wiring power, data and voice, on-site deli/restaurant, and building security.
The adjacent 100,000 sq.ft. office building at 40 LaRiviere Drive was purchased by Dagher in September 2014 for $6.875 million. That building will see common area improvements and updates when a master lease with a corporate tenant expires at the end of 2018.
