Developer Karl Frizlen is seeking to construct a two-storey, 24-unit building with underground parking at 794 Potomac. The .6 acre development site is located in a desirable neighborhood, especially when considering the quality of the nearby housing stock, and in close proximity to Delaware Park, and Chapin and Bidwell Parkways.
Finding an available plot of land in this neighborhood is not easy. This particular plot of land is a bit quirky, due to the nature of the setting. The parcel, currently owned by Arlene Spriesch, extends all the way to Inwood Place, where an automotive business is located – very unusual due to the residential composition of the block. There is also a small house that sits in the middle of the parcel. While Frizlen has not released any renderings, the immediate neighbors would most likely see this as a constructive development.
