Each December, right before Christmas Day, cyclists from the Buffalo Lazy Randonneur Club (BLRC) gather at a designated spot before embarking upon a seasonal “Dash Through the Snow”.
This year, cyclists will gather on Sunday, December 20th (2:00pm) at the Front Park pavilion.
Participants will enjoy a brisk ride, while wassailing along the way. Each year, riders set out to celebrate “the magical Spirit of the Season”, meeting and greeting new and old friends.
After the ride, complete with a viewing of the sunset over the water, and plenty of toastings of yuletide hot mulled wine, the group will head to Hot Mama’s Canteen for some well-deserved bowls of chili. It is there that they will wind down, tell stories, and reflect on the cleverly thematic rides of 2015.
The “Madness of King George” insists that Buffalo, NY is a four season cycling town.
Buffalo Lazy Randonneur Club – Everyone is invited to attend the ride!
Deck out your bike and join the BLRC crew for some two-wheel holiday merrymaking.
