A new rendering of Ellicott Development’s 301 Ohio Street mixed use project has surfaced. Unlike the last rendering to arise, this one shows the building’s Buffalo River frontage. The depiction gives us a better idea of how the project embraces the waterfront, with restaurant vistas, patio seating, a public boardwalk, and sprawling dockage.
For a river that has seen relatively little development in years past, this type of development couldn’t be any more exciting, especially when you consider the amount of activity that surrounds the site. From the reworked Ohio Street Boulevard to potential Kelly Island connectivity (Middle Harbor), this development is perfectly timed and situated to create a bit of prime density, especially when thrown into the mix with Savarino’s Buffalo River Lofts on one side, and Buffalo River Fest’s Waterfront Lodge on the other.
Once complete, 301 Ohio Street will boast two restaurants and 10,000 square feet of commercial space, topped by 21 apartments on the upper three floors.
