The Buffalo beer scene will soon be the beneficiary of another brewery. 12 Gates Brewing’s beer will soon start showing up at bars throughout the city and the region, initially including Pizza Plant, Aurora Brew Works, Goodbar, Moorpat, Blue Monk, Public House, Ebenezer Ale House, Brickyard in Lewiston, World of Beers Galleria, Santora’s Pizza Pub on Transit, Santora’s Pizza Pub on Millersport and Griffon Pub.
At 12 noon, on 12/12, beer lovers will be able to try all of the handcrafted beers from this ambitious brewery.
The taproom, when it opens, is located at 80 Earhart Drive in Williamsville – a northern suburb of Buffalo. The taproom will be serving all five staple beers – as well as short run and experimental brews.
The initial five beers distributed, which will be available in numerous area bars, are: West Coast IPA, Under the Southern Cross IPA, Session IPA, 12 Gates White, and Coffee Porter. The anticipated grand opening of the taproom, along with the initial release to the aforementioned dozen bars and restaurants, will officially be announced shortly on their website, but mark your calendars, 12/12 is being recognized as 12 Gates Brewing Day in Buffalo, New York.
