“Is Buffalo really getting its mojo back?”

Yes, Buffalo is on the upswing. To hear the politicians tell it, the region is absolutely booming. True or false?

Investigative Post is hosting a panel discussion Dec. 1 to consider the question “Is Buffalo really getting its mojo back?”

Investigative Post Editor Jim Heaney will moderate a discussion that will include speakers with distinctive points of view:

  • Newell Nussbaumer, founder and editorial director of Buffalo Rising.
  • Henry L. Taylor, a professor and founding director of the Center for Urban Studies at the University at Buffalo.
  • Rocco Termini, president of Signature Development who is responsible for some of the city’s most notable redevelopment projects.
The discussion starts at 7 p.m. at Allen Street Hardware, 245 Allen St. Admission is $10 for non-members and Bronze members; free for Silver, Gold and Platinum members. Admission includes a free drink.
Tickets can be ordered online, as can an Investigative Post membership.

Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rising work on collaborative efforts in order to cover various events and stories. These posts can not be attributed to one single author, as it is a combined effort. Often times a formation of a post gets started by one writer and passed along to one or more writers before completion. At times there are author attributions at the end of one of these posts. Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.
