Work on the $11.6 million Turner Bros. Lofts project on Niagara Street looks to be nearing completion. Windows have been replaced on the circa 1853 building, and its taller circa 1923 counterpart. Altogether, the mixed use project will feature 40 apartments and 9,400 sq.ft. of ground floor commercial space.
A rooftop patio will be located on the fifth floor and each apartment will have a storage area on the building’s mezzanine level. Other planned amenities include indoor bike storage, a pet wash station, a conference room, and Car Share station. The residential lobby will be located along the south side of the building adjacent to the planned parking lot. R&P Oak Hill is construction manager. There will be 32 one-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 804 to 906 sq.ft. and eight two-bedroom units with 1,316 to 1,349 sq.ft. of living space. Apartments will contain walk-in closets, laundries, and electric fireplaces. – BRO
Apartments are expected to be tenant-ready in May.
