There are many ways to get familiar with what’s really happening in Buffalo. Whether it’s tuning into social media sites, or paying attention to local media, there’s a lot going on these days when it comes to rebuilding this city.
Every year, Working for Downtown hosts a monthly free speaker series, where some of the region’s most knowledgable and influential people come to talk about the projects that they are familiar with.
Coming up in November is Brandye Merriweather who will be discussing the importance of reusing Buffalo buildings, along with the advent of pop-up shops in Downtown Buffalo. Then, in December, Paul Kolkmeyer will delve into a number of crucial developments projects that he is involved with in Downtown Buffalo, including Marine Trust 237 Main and Stanton 251 Main. Finally, Carl Paladino will discuss the restoration and resurrection of the Sattler Theater on Broadway.
If you plan on attending any of these free talks, be sure to RSVP. See the flyer below for all of the pertinent details.
