Sinatra & Company Real Estate and a team of Buffalo foodies has announced the coming of EXPO Market – a craft food and beverage market. A press conference within the Market Arcade atrium unveiled the tenants that will be occupying the spaces at EXPO. The concepts within the market are all locally inspired and reputable establishments, according to concept strategists Nick Sinatra and Paul Tsouflides. The following purveyors applied for a spot in the market and were given space:
Newbury Street (Healthy Fast Food), Osteria as Mercado, Sun Roll (Authentic Asian Fusion), Agave Dos (Mexican), Gypsy Bohemian Grove Bar (GBGB – craft beers, coffee, breakfast, etc), and Crush Juicery (Smoothie Juice Bar).
The food hall will be comprised of a number of different kiosks, that will all share communal seating, kitchens, and even coolers and entertainment. “This is a first for Buffalo,” said Tsouflides. “We were inspired by what we saw in other cities. The mix is exactly what the team had in mind when they set out to create the 8000 square foot market.”
EXPO will occupy the former Perfetto’s Restaurant space at the Market Arcade. The market will be open six days a week, from 10:30am to 9pm – various market purveyors will keep their own hours within the EXPO space. The event surrounding the announcement of EXPO was hosted and promoted by City Dining Cards. EXPO is a play on the Pan American Exposition.
