Big Deal: Jacobs Picks up 12 E. Tupper

Chris Jacobs has added another building to his portfolio. Although not on Main Street, where he owns a cluster of other real estate investments, 12 E. Tupper at the corner of Washington is in close proximity. Jacobs picked up the property for $550,000, which is a good deal in this part of Downtown Buffalo. The building was purchased through Jacobs’ 737 Main Street LLC. The first floor houses Printing Prep, a longstanding Buffalo business.

As for the future of the building, Jacobs says that he is still working on plans. These buildings are becoming harder and harder to come by, especially as the downtown real estate market continues to thrive.

Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rising work on collaborative efforts in order to cover various events and stories. These posts can not be attributed to one single author, as it is a combined effort. Often times a formation of a post gets started by one writer and passed along to one or more writers before completion. At times there are author attributions at the end of one of these posts. Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.
