Buffalo Wings Shuttle Service will be offering free rides this Friday, as it celebrates its first day in operation (see more). According to co-founder Jake Hager, “Friday, September 19th will be our first scheduled run day! For this first day, we will be offering special free rides for our WINGS fans so they are able to come enjoy our new experience and learn how to better use it before the following week, when we will actually be accepting fares from our customers.”
Since making the official launch announcement, the Buffalo Wings Shuttle team has been hard at work getting ready for the big day. Finally, the shuttle operation is firing on all cylinders, the app is working, and the word is quickly getting out. Customers are now able to download the app, in order to search for shuttle routes, and arrival times (see website). Wings Shuttle customers can view the rates by clicking here. Other than that, it’s as easy as leaving your car behind and hopping aboard, while enjoying some added accessibility throughout the city.
We might not have Uber yet (ugh!!!), but we do have a new shuttle service that is helping to supplement Buffalo’s relative inability to get around, and out of its own way. Let’s hope that the rest of our public/private transportation journey is all uphill… or downhill, depending on which way you look at it and what service you are taking.
