Starting today, Buffalo’s Polish community invites you to attend the Dozynki Polish Harvest Festival, which is held throughout the weekend at Corpus Christi Church’s Sears Street Social and Athletic Club – 165 Sears Street. Visitors to the harvest festival will find authentic Polish food and music, in an inspirational setting that guarantees a good time for all who attend.
From the mouth watering Polish Platter (golabki, lazy pierogi, polish sausage, sweet/sour cabbage, bread/butter), to homemade pierogi, baloney & onions, the food is simply spectacular. And so is the entertainment, with live music from bands that include The Buffalo Touch, Al Kania’s Band and the Special Delivery Band. Grab your special mug at the event, and fill it up with your favorite Polish beer. Visit the Polish Café for some scrumptious treats. Meet 2015 Miss Dozynki – Crystaline Olejniczak-Wilcox. And try your had at bowling! This celebration of Polish culture is a favorite for hundreds, year after year.
