Support the Barkyard Bone Bench Project

Fans of the Barkyard at LaSalle Park are being asked to consider donating to a cause that would see new custom benches added to the grounds. The cement benches would be fabricated by Solid 716, right here in Buffalo. Those that donate have a chance to secure a long-lasting impression on a dog bone-shaped bench, starting with an embedded dog tag with the name of their pooch emblazoned for all to see (and sit).

So far, the cast for the bench is complete, and the fundraiser has been launched. Co-owner of Solid 716, Jonathan Casey, says that the benches will be completed and installed this summer, which means that there’s no time like the present to memorialize your dog (or cat if you’re sneaky).

To donate to this bow-wow bench, you can visit the Barkyard’s fundraising page.
