27th annual Taking It to the Streets International Crusade Rally and Festival

This weekend marks the 27th annual Taking It to the Streets International Crusade Rally and Festival, which is being held on Saturday and Sunday at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park – corners of Fillmore Avenue and Best Street. Each year, hundreds of people gather together to promote a “safe, family-friendly, and anti-violence atmosphere”, filled with live music, artists, food, community heroes, and lots of activities for all ages.

By creating an atmosphere that is engaging and inclusive, the energy that is created at the festival resounds throughout the city throughout the rest of the year. By organizing an event that focuses on positivity and family values, Taking It to the Streets organizers are sending a message to all of Buffalo, that this is the time, and the place, to build strong community ties, locally, nationally and worldly.

The 27th annual Taking It to the Streets International Crusade Rally and Festival takes place Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th, 2015 in Martin Luther King, Jr. Park at the corners of Fillmore Avenue and Best Street.
