The Inaugural Rumble in the Rust Belt

Mark-Miremont-Buffalo-NYThere’s a rumble coming to Buffalo. A lot of people talking about it, and the expectations are high. The pin-up community is taking part, as are the rockabillies, the burlesque community,  the surf punks, and the garage and horror rock rats.

The 12-hour festival, curated by renowned pin-up photographer/artist Mark Miremont (a local boy at heart), is taking place inside and outside of Mohawk Place.

Rumble in the Rust Belt is a Kustom Kulture undertaking, that is guaranteed to get your engine revving and your heart a thumpin’.

For those free whiling punks, who love of cars, music and burlesque, the festival will highlight the best of the best when it comes to tats, skulls, grease, Kustom cars, Ratrods, classics and choppers. The rumble will also showcase five WNY bands and nine burlesque performers. Look for Miremont to be spinning psychobilly, obscure rockabilly, surf and darkwave.
