The Supreme Court has ruled that gay marriage is now allowed in all 50 states. The decision came down to a 5 to 4 vote. It was Justice Anthony Kennedy who tipped the scale with his swing vote that led the way to the historic victory.
“There’s so much more work to be done to extend the full promise of America to every American. But today, we can say in no uncertain terms that we’ve made our union a little more perfect,” said President Barack Obama. The President called the ruling “a victory for America.”
