Gathering of Women III

Project Grant is not only in the “business” of outfitting our urban youth with artistic abilities. The group is constantly looking for ways to bring factions of the community together for ‘meet and greets’, and to hatch plans that will lead the way for a better Buffalo.

On Wednesday, June 24, 2015, Project Grant will be hosting a round table of women (a gathering of sorts) who will discuss and share the opportunities, or lack thereof, that women have in a predominantly male dominated society. In order to create additional windows of opportunities for women, in various fields and in day to day life, there is no better way to solve problems and open up doors, than to gather together in solidarity.

This is the third installment of the Gathering of Women series. This week, a talk will be led by Jenna North , who will be discussing the nature of apocalyptic interior decorating (see lead image). Special guest will be Van Tran Nguyen who will be painting some dazzling nail designs for interested attendees ($10).

Women are asked to bring a beverage and/or a snack to enjoy and/or share.
