Later today, the 600 Block of Main Street in Downtown Buffalo will be hosting its regularly scheduled “2nd Friday”, a promotional event aimed at attracting shoppers, diners and theater goers to the heart of the city.
Visitors to the event can expect to find many of the shops staying open until at least 8pm. There will be live mannequins on the street, along with dancers and artists. Some of the shops will be participating by offering wine and snacks, and maybe a few special sales. The family friendly event is a fantastic way to get to know many of the new businesses that line the street, including the brand new Queen City Pop Up (653 Main Street).
Artists and musicians are invited and encouraged to show off their talents during the event (5pm-8pm).

Queen City Pop Up, 653 Main Street – with wine and snacks inside. Living Mannequins along the block wearing attire and accessories from the retailers.
Althea’s 2nd Time Around Boutique Consignment, 661 Main Street
J. Christian Fashion Boutique & Sasmita Batik Indonesia, 617 Main Street will have a table set up outside the Market Arcade and the inside lobby will remain open (inside: CEPA Gallery, Squeaky Wheel Film & Media Arts Center, Queen City Gallery.
