It’s Flea Market Season

The third year of Silo Fleas gets underway on Sunday at Silo City. Joining the flea market will be the Whole Hog Food Truck, Ashker’s Juice Bar, and Sweet Melody’s Gelato.

Silo Fleas operator Scott O’Connor tells me that Explore Buffalo will be conducting site tours of the silos as well. “Don’t forget that Sunday is also the Buffalo Marathon,” says Scott. “So the best way to get to the flea market is from the 190 South, to Louisiana Street, to South Park and onto Michigan Avenue. From there take Ohio Street to the market. The street should reopen a bit after noon. Sunday will be the first of five Silo Fleas markets this summer.”

The Peddler Flea market also runs throughout the summer each and every Saturday at the corner of Elmwood and West Ferry. Vendors looking to sell vintage wares and antiques at either market are encouraged to contact Scott at
