As of Saturday, the Buffalo area will be home to another small batch brewery. To mark the occasion, Rusty Nickel Brewing will be hosting a grand opening celebration at 4350 Seneca Street, in West Seneca behind The Ebenezer Ale House. The small batch brewery boasts a 900 square foot tasting room and 1,800 square foot biergarten. What the brewery lacks in size, it makes up in spirit.
Brewery owners Jason Havens, Scott Fiege and Dave Johnson will be hosting the grand opening celebration on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 12pm – 9pm. As part of the festivities, local bands Wacko Fest, The Plagiarists, Imperial Brown, and Randle and the Late Night Scandals will play throughout the day.
Myriad beers touted to be“Brewed just a little Different” will be available, including a couple of standards, and one or two specialty brews. Look out for the Honey Nut Beer-e-o’s dreamed up by head brewer Dave Johnson, who has been brewing hand crafted home brews for over 25 years.
Rusty Nickel is a NYS Farm Brewery, and uses locally sourced NYS ingredients in its production.
