Get in Shape this Summer with Kristin Damstetter

When it comes to exercising the body and the mind, Kristin Damstetter is your gal about town. That’s because Kristin is ever-present in the hula hoop and yoga scene.

In this case, I’m not talking about instructing classes in a studio. Quite the opposite. Kristin’s schtick is to get people outside, to the waterfront and to the parks, so that they can learn to live active and healthy lifestyles.

Now Kristin is inviting all of us to participate in the action. Take a free yoga class at Delaware Park or at Canalside, or join in on a free hoop jam at Delaware Park. All of the instructional and free form classes are open to novices and pros.

Most of the outdoor sessions and classes listed below are free and open to the public. At the same time, Kristin does offer some personal training for those who feel that they need some one-on-one time. Also, if you feel like hooping is the way to go, but you don’t have your own hula hoop, don’t worry! Kristin can outfit you with your own hoop (for a fee), so you have no excuse when it comes to getting outdoors and into shape this summer.
