Canadian-Flagged Great Lakes Bulk Carrier Pays a Visit to Buffalo

Larry Bystran (Lazarus Properties and The Barrel Factory) just happened to be at the right place at the right time when he snapped this great image, which he took yesterday morning.

“[It’s the] Canadian-flagged Great Lakes bulk carrier Saginaw freighter (633 ft.) backing up on the historic Buffalo River with the assistance of the tug Washington, heading for the ADM Elevator with a load of grain,” says Larry. “Saginaw is visible from Mutual Riverfront Park & Boat Launch at Hamburg & South Sts., near The Barrel Factory!”

Thanks for sharing this incredible image of Buffalo’s waterfront with us!
