Buffalo Saturday Artisan Market Set To Open for the 2015 Season

The Buffalo Saturday Artisan Market (SAM) is preparing to get underway with its 2015 season on May, 23.

On that day, artists and artisans will gather at Canalside to set up shop, displaying their handcrafted items for passersby.

In a relatively short period of time, SAM has become somewhat of an institution at the Inner Harbor. Not only has it provided an incredible outlet for creatives to show their wares, it has also helped to create a substantial buzz of activity whenever the market is underway.

The Buffalo Saturday Artisan Market operates two Saturdays a month, May through October at Canalside. Event hours are 10 am to 5 pm.

Bring the kids and let then play on the Canalside lawn, or in the giant sandbox.

Grab some food and discover a world of arts and crafts made by talented people in the region. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the bustling waterfront. And bring home a handcrafted souvenir from your excursion.

Following are the market dates:

May 23 ~ Season Opener
June 6
June 20
July 4
July 18
August 8
August 15
September 5
September 19
October 10 ~ Season Finale
