Madd Loco “Nueve de Mayo” Celebration

On Saturday, May 9, 2015, Madd Loco, Blood & Ink, and Artvoice Presents, bring to Buffalo the first event of its kind – an outrageous showdown between green Jello wrestling teams and outlandish musician maestros. The event pays tribute to activities surrounding Cinco de Mayo.

The event takes place at The Waiting Room, and features some of the craziest acts from around the region and beyond. Out of the gate is a very special guest, Bill Manspeaker from Green Jelly, who will be mixing it up with Buffalo’s Angry Soil, Super Killer Robots, Cold Dark Train, Lazy Ass Destroyer, Surfing’ Cadavers, Angry Soil Army Goon Squad, the Green Jelly Punk Rock Puppet Show, along with myriad special guests.

The Madd Loco Nueve de Mayo Celebration is a mash-up of Lucha wrestling culture and spring break-style Jello wrestling. Other incidents of interest include skin art displays, music mayhem, giant Manspeaker puppets, with a special showcase appearance from the newly established 716 Female Wrestling League.

“High flying aerial luchador wrestlers and the MaddTat2 crew will be doing live body art, so come and get that day of the dead face,” says Mark Madden, owner of MaddTat2 in Buffalo. “The event will also feature the longest running independent wrestling league in Western New York – Old School Pro Wrestling (OSPW). It’s all the action, with old school heart!”
