Vintage Buffalo NY

If you’re a fan of viewing vintage images of Buffalo , then you need to check out this Vintage Buffalo Facebook page.

Just this morning a historic image of the original Phoenix Brewery caught my eye.

Browsing through the images (99% of the images are Buffalo related, with a couple current event images tossed in), was like going down memory lane – there’s a Courier Express “Sample” ad for Bastad clogs (now sold at ShoeFly on Elmwood), and an image of a Deco Restaurant (I wish I had been around to visit one). There’s a photo of the 1983 Willy the Whale Car Wash that cracked me up. And then the image of the x-country skier traversing The Skyway… fun!!!
