Spring It On: Buffalo Niagara’s Day of Giving

Spring It On takes place the first day of spring each year. The Spring It On event helps non-profits to rally the community to meet targeted fundraising goals. The initiative is referred to as a Day of Giving, where each of us goes out of his or her way to ensure that an organization, near and dear to our hearts, benefits financially.

By creating a singe Day of Giving, each organization is able to dedicate marketing resources and efforts in order to rally the community. Each year, as people become more and more aware of the collective efforts, larger sums are raised.

In 2015 , Spring It On takes place on March 19. On that day, people are asked to click on this site, and choose one or more worthy organizations to support. Stay tuned for more information.

At this point there are more than 150 regional non-profits participating. Organizations interested in getting onboard with the fundraising program can visit the United Way website for additional information.

*Spring It On 2015 will be held from 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19 (the first day of Spring!) until 8:00 a.m. Friday, March 20.
