LoveFest Coming to RiverWorks

There’s another big event coming up at RiverWorks called LoveFest. LoveFest is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a big party that pays homage to the days of free love. The only twist is that this “Love Fest” is a fundraiser for Roswell. Which means that there will be plenty of love going around on that day – love of your fellow man… can you dig it?

The funds raised at this 60s/70s themed event will be earmarked for the young adult program at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The inspiration behind LoveFest came from the family of Kali Korzelius who passed away in 2012 after losing her battle with cancer. Now her memory lives on, not just through her friends and family, but through this upcoming event that will be a mash-up of British Invasion, Woodstock, hippies, and flower children.

You can learn more about LoveFest by checking out this Facebook page. If you have not made it down to RiverWorks, this is another great opportunity.
