If you run for a good cause, then you’re already a superhero. That said, there is a race that elevates its runners into a category of superheroes that more resembles comic book legends such as The Hulk, Captain America and Wonder Woman. For those who are looking to don the emblems of their favorite comic book heroes, and then to the streets to participate in a charitable 5K run/walk, there is an event that has your name all over it – the Buffalo Superhero Race.
By participating in the event, runners/walkers will be supporting those who suffer from mental health, abuse and neglect issues. Buffalo Superhero Race is sponsored by Compeer of Greater Buffalo and Health Association of Erie County, two organizations that tout mental wellness through exercise. Join friends and family in this inspirational run/walk at Delaware Park on Friday, June 5th, 2015. The family friendly event also features an after party with live music, food and drink, dancing, and activities for children.
