SAFE WOR(L)D – A Virtual Valentine’s Day

There are those who feel that Valentine’s Day should be interactive. Yes, there should be plenty of interaction between the love birds, but there are other ways to stimulate the brain and the senses (for those who are in need of an extra sensory experience).

Enter Flatsitter, the conductor of Buffalo’s roaming psychedelic virtual reality Oculus Rift headset.

This is the second time that Flatsitter has set out to entertain a limited group in a private event setting, with its 360 degree field headset that responds to the movements of the participants. There are only a few people that have ever experienced the sensation of being transported into such a simulated environment.

Now Flatsitter has teamed up with The Foundry Suites at 1738 Elmwood Avenue for a special Valentine’s Day event. For $20 guests will be invited to reserve a SAFE WOR(L)D showing, while also being treated to snacks and a signature cocktail.

Play some pool, mingle with other real life guests, enjoy some drinks, and experience an unfamiliar world that is awaiting your arrival. All aboard the SAFE WOR(L)D express!

Event: SAFE WOR(L)D, shared virtual reality experiences with Flatsitter
