A Mid Winter’s Draw @ Hallwalls

On Wednesday, February 25, 2015, Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center will be hosting its annual “A Mid Winter’s Draw” at 341 Delaware Avenue. The event is a live drawing and silent auction, where regional artists draw in front of audience members, who then bid on the artists’ works. It’s a lively and social event that incorporates the love of “live art” into a spirited auction environment.

The event will feature 36 artists who will have 45 minutes to sketch their works. The evening will be divided up into two distinct sessions. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the drawing commences at 7:15pm. The opening bid for the artwork is $39. The entrance fee for the event is $5. There will be a cash bar (including specialty cocktails), with a guest appearance by the Whole Hog Food Truck. Live music by ABCDJ.
