As shock and disbelief starts to shift to sadness and grief, a throng of Lance Diamond supporters prepares to celebrate the entertainer’s life.
On Friday, January 9, 2015, friends, fans and family will attend a musical celebration in honor of Lance from 6pm to 8pm at Kleinhans Music Hall.
According to the GooGoo Dolls Facebook page, “GGDS are honored to be performing at a musical tribute to Lance Diamond.”
The Goos stated previously on the site, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of dear friend Lance Diamond. He was a mentor as well as a friend. He was never at a loss for words lamenting him almost seems inappropriate right now because. He would always lighten any situation with a quick wit and huge heart. His life was a celebration every day. So we honor his spirit with love and respect. Always respect. Until we see you again friend. We won’t laugh as often or as hard. But we are better because you were in our lives.” – John & Robby
On Saturday, the public is also invited to attend a wake at Kleinhans starting at 11am. A funeral service at noon will follow.
